Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp dry active yeast
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp butter
3/4 cup + 2 tbsp water
Instructions:
1. Heat water and butter to 110°F
2. Combine warm water and butter in a bowl, then stir in dry active yeast. Cover and let it sit for 5 minutes to activate
3. Mix in the remaining ingredients to form a dough
4. Knead the dough until soft (about 5 minutes), then let it rest for 1 hour
5. Shape the dough into 8 balls and let them rest for 40 minutes
6. Flatten each ball on a lightly dusted surface
7. Fry on medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until fluffy
